Grilled Chicken Sandwich & Bell Pepper Spread on Bacon Cheddar Beer Bread

1. In a covered skillet and with 2 Tbs. of olive oil, sauté two cored, seeded and chopped bell peppers with 2 thinly sliced garlic cloves, and 1/4 tsp. of salt until tender (about 10 minutes).

2. Remove from skillet and add 1/4 tsp. of salt and 1/2 tsp. of pepper. Makes 3/4 cup.

3. Grill chicken breasts. 

4. Brush oil olive on one side of Bacon Cheddar Beer Bread slices. Grill slices with the oil side down.

5. Add Bell Pepper Spread to grilled bread and top off with grilled Chicken Breast. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese if you'd like.


Texas Toast

Slices of all kinds of Great Harvest Breads grill well. Add butter or olive oil to the flame side before grilling. Once hot and crusty, dip the hot bread in olive oil, your favorite salad dressing, or one of our awesome house-made spreads like our famous Garlic Herb. Or, try the recipes below.


Pomodoro Spread

1. Sauté 1/4 cup chopped onion and 1 minced garlic clove in 1/4 cup of olive oil for 3 minutes.

2. Add 3 large diced tomatoes and heat.

3. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cup chopped basil, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper.Spread on the grilled bread of your choice. Enjoy!


Mustard Herb Vinaigrette Dip

1. Combine 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 Tbs. red wine vinegar, 1 tsp. Dijon mustard.

2. Add 1/4 cup finely chopped basil, 2 Tbs. chopped chives, 1 tsp. chopped fresh oregano.

3.  Add salt and pepper to taste and you're ready to dip your favorite grilled breads. Yum!
